The Institute of Hospitality, founded as the Institutional Management Association in 1938, is the professional body for individual managers and aspiring managers working and studying in the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry. The Institute's reputation as a membership organisation promoting quality standards and education spans more than 100 countries.

Royal Academy of Culinary Arts


Founded in 1980, the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts is Britain’s leading professional association of Head Chefs, Pastry Chefs, Restaurant Managers and suppliers; uniting like-minded professionals in the pursuit of a stronger future for the hospitality industry.

Academy of Food & Wine


The Academy of Food and Wine Service (AFWS) established in 1988, is the professional body for front-of-house service. Dedicated to improving the status and awareness of food and beverage service as a viable career choice, raising standards across the industry and encouraging teamwork with other colleagues. AFWS can offer advice and training to anyone following or considering, a career as a sommelier, wine waiter, waiter, bar manager or restaurant manager

Chaine des Rotisseurs UK


The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is an international gastronomic society dedicated to bringing together professional and non-professional members from around the world who appreciate wine, cuisine and fine dining. Members of a local Bailliage are part of a worldwide organisation with more than 25,000 members in over 80 countries

The Restaurant Association


The RA provides professional guidance to members and represents their views to Government. It actively promotes education and training in the industry through college award schemes and through the wider work of the British Hospitality Association. Members of the Association have access to marketing initiatives and an extensive calendar of networking social and sporting events as part of their British Hospitality

Master Innholders


The formation of the Master Innholders in 1978 was the first step taken by the Worshipful Company of Innholders towards renewing its traditional links with innkeeping. In common with many other  City of London Livery Companies it had retained few connections with the modern day industry of hotel-keeping

Wine & Spirit Educational Trust

The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) was founded in 1969 to provide high quality education and training in wines and spirits.  Since then, WSET has grown into the foremost international body in the field of wines and spirits education, with a suite of sought-after qualifications. We now even have a membership body - the Institute of Wines & Spirits - for those who have passed the WSET Diploma, our top qualification.

The Wine Guild of the UK

As a brotherhood of wine lovers the Guild aims to share the enjoyment and appreciation of wine by communicating and promoting knowledge and understanding of the many wines from all parts of the world and especially those of the United Kingdom.

Hospitality Action

Established in 1837 Hospitality Action, the Hospitality Industry Benevolent Organisation, has offered vital assistance to all who work, or have worked within hospitality in the UK and who find themselves in crisis.

F&BMA of Singapore


The Food and Beverage Managers' Association (FBMA) was founded and registered in Singapore in 1989. Starting out as an avenue for food and beverage professionals to gather, the association has developed into a hub for its members to network, exchange business ideas and practices and support the ever growing food and beverage industry.
